Reading Buddies
Reading is an important part of learning, and having someone take the time to read with a child can make a real difference.
Reading Buddies is a community outreach program offered by Transcona Community Church that connects younger students with caring high school volunteers for reading practice, encouragement and a little extra one-on-one attention.
Our goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where children can practise their reading, grow in confidence and discover the joy of books.
Registration Opens November 18th
