At Transcona Community Church, we believe community is something worth building. Throughout the year, we create opportunities for neighbours to come together, share a meal, have fun, and experience genuine care and hospitality.
Our annual community events are one way we put our faith into action, showing God’s love in practical ways and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and welcome. Whether you’ve been part of our community for years or you’re meeting us for the first time, there’s always a place for you.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanksgiving is a time to gather around the table and give thanks, and we believe everyone should have a place at that table. Our Community Thanksgiving Dinner brings neighbours together for a warm meal, good conversation, and a chance to celebrate the gift of community. It’s a simple way to share God’s love and remind people that they belong. Space is limited. Registration is required, and will open mid September.
Christmas Dinner Deliveries
Christmas can be a wonderful season, but it can also be a difficult or busy time for many. Each year, we prepare Christmas dinners that are frozen and ready to enjoy, making them a practical way to provide a little extra help during the holiday season.
These meals are perfect for seniors, students, families who could use a helping hand, newcomers to Canada, or anyone who would appreciate a ready-made Christmas meal. Our volunteer team delivers these meals right to the homes of Transcona residents.
It’s one small way we can meet a practical need, build connection, and share God’s love with our community during the Christmas season.
Registration is required and will open beginning of December for Transcona Residents.
Easter Dinner
Easter is a celebration of hope, new life, and the love of God. Our Community Easter Dinner is an opportunity to come together, share a meal, and celebrate with our neighbours. Whether you celebrate Easter every year or are simply looking for a place to connect, you are welcome to join us at the table. Registration is required, and will open mid March.
Community BBQ
Summer is better when neighbours come together! Our annual Community BBQ is an evening of food, fun, activities, and connection for the whole community. From a good meal to games and plenty of laughter, it’s a chance to slow down, meet your neighbours, and simply enjoy being together.
